The Phantastics: Saving Live Music, Lives

The Phantastics: Saving Live Music, Lives

Epic Concert at Battle4KC with Headliner – the Phantastics

The Phantastics are…hyper-boogie-hip-hopified-funk-a-mystical-groovification!

“We wanted the Phantastics at Battle4KC because they bring the party to the people better than anyone I have ever encountered,” said Stefan White President of Friends of the River Kansas City. Continuing, “If you are in need of a good face-melting, they are the band that will melt your face off. I cannot wait for Saturday, May the 6th to have them on our stage again.”

The Phantastics are a seven-member band from Kansas City specializing in tantalizing, genre-blending dance floor activators. In 2015, the music group was crowned “Kansas City’s best party band” by the Kansas City Star.

But “party” doesn’t encompass the range in which The Phantastics reign. Musicianship and diversity are at the core of their success. Expect to hear Rock, Rap, Dance, Funk, Jazz and Soul all incorporated into a seamless, winding river of music. “The band that can do it all”, according to I Heart Local Music, has shared the stage with some of music’s most legendary acts including George Clinton and the Parliament-Funkadelic.

The Phantastics were formed in December of 2010 and have been trying to save live music ever since. Saturday, May 6th, as a city we battle Cystic Fibrosis at Berkley Riverfront Park with 10,000 fellow Lifesavers.

Join us in this once in a lifetime event for a great cause.
